Wellness Center

About

The Wellness Center  is a calm, safe room at Fairview High School. Students can rest, take a break, talk with a staff member, or meet friends. Staff can listen and help students find next steps.

One goal of the Wellness Center is to show that early intervention matters – recognizing and addressing mental health concerns early can make a significant difference in a student’s life.

Who can use it

Any Fairview student, staff, or teacher may use the center during lunch, off periods, or any time they need a break.

What happens there

  • A trusted adult will listen to you.
  • You can learn simple ways to calm down (breathing, grounding).
  • You can use quiet tools or a calm corner to feel better.
  • If you need more help, staff can connect you with counselors or other services.
