NetZero Environmental Club
Welcome to Net Zero is Fairview's environmental club!
We aim to create a fun atmosphere to learn about the environment. As a club, we talk about the climate crisis, environmental issues, and other related problems. We incorporate volunteering, field trips, guest speakers, and other cool projects in order to learn about these things.
In the past we’ve planted over 150 trees and taught lessons to kindergarteners about the importance of pollinators. Net Zero won the 2012 EPA Presidential Environmental youth award for being instrumental in passing the Boulder plastic bag tax that still exists today. We also helped make Fairview the first green star school in BVSD!
Join Us: Attend our weekly meetings on Tuesday during block lunch. You don’t have to come to every meeting, and you are welcome to join at any point during the school year!
