Judy Pieken

Speech-Language Therapist: Originally from Whidbey Island, WA, I've lived in Boulder for 28 years and raised 2 sons here. I speak two languages fluently and several badly. I've worked 21 years as an SLP, including private practice and preschool through 12th grade, with 16 years at Fairview. I work with many students - from those who are nonverbal, to those who stutter, to those who have significant social needs, plus many others. Every year, there's something new 😊 I enjoy helping students develop their language skills, their confidence, and become more independent.

I'm on the BVSD 1338 committee for Teacher Evaluations. Another assignment is to review and provide feedback for my SLP colleagues' IEP evaluations and annual reviews.
