Aaron Jones

Hello and welcome to another exciting school year! My name is Mr. Jones and I'm heading into my 5th year teaching at FHS and my 16th in BVSD. I've been teaching high school Language Arts since 1999, so this is year 23 for me.

In my free time I enjoy staying active, reading and writing, and spending time with my family of five. My wife is also a teacher and my children are ages 10, 12, and 14. We all love to ski, travel, swim, fish, and play sports like hockey, baseball, folf, football and gymnastics. I am also a varsity football coach here at Fairview. Sko' Knights!!!

This summer my family and I were excited to do some traveling again. No need to tell you why. We spent 3 weeks in Europe. We stopped in England first, then flew to the beautiful islands and beaches of Croatia and Montenegro. We wrapped up the trip with a couple days in Finland.

This year I'll be teaching 10th grade Language Arts along with Pre-IB LA 9 and elective Film classes. We will use Google Classroom to manage all our calendars, assignments, and daily work for each of these classes. But as the world has proven us...things could change at any minute! So always be prepared to be flexible and ready to drive the success of your own learning.
