FHS 1:Web program
1:WEB at FHS
The BVSD 1:Web program was rolled out in January 2022 at FHS. At that time, incoming 9th graders (2021-2022 school year) were given Chromebooks. Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year incoming 9th graders were given the option to join the 1:web program. At this point, half of the student body (9th and 10th graders) should be bringing their 1:web charged device or personal Chromebook/laptop to school. Limited loaners are available for students from the classroom and library.
INCOMING 9th GRADERS & TRANSFER STUDENTS
Incoming 9th graders from middle school (except Summit Middle) will be expected to exchange their 8th grade device and charger for a new Chromebook in August. Incoming 9th graders from out of district will be picking up their new Chromebooks in August as well. Transfer students can opt into paying for a new device.
We encourage and expect ALL students to have a BVSD issued Chromebook. Many school exams are done ONLY on BVSD issued Chromebooks. If your student does not have one, there are limited loaners in some teacher classrooms. You should not expect that a loaner will be available at all times.
