Vanessa Carroll

A National Board certified teacher, I taught high school and middle school English for 12 years at Fairview, Boulder High, Summit Middle School, and an uber-competitive magnet academy in Texas.  Although I miss the classroom, I'm thrilled to run Grad+ at Fairview.

 My Masters (CU Boulder) is in English/Creative Writing, and my Bachelors (Bates College, Maine) is in English.

 A native New Englander, I've lived in south Boulder for over 20 years now, and in my free time I do what many folks in the area do: I hike, I read books, and I make sourdough bread and kombucha.  I'm married to a geologist, and we have three wonderful kids who attend UT Austin, Fairview and Summit, and two extroverted cats named Mr. Waffles and Catfish John.
