Michelle Friend

I was born and raised in Boulder and believe it or not, I attended Fairview! I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and my MA in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

In my free time I love being outdoors, enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, biking, and snowboarding.

I have been a counselor at Fairview since 2010 and I am looking forward to another year working with the exceptional students and families. I truly enjoy helping students navigate high school, deal with social/emotional concerns and figure out their academic and career goals.

Ms. Houston and myself also teach the Peer Ambassador class on block days. Peer Ambassadors are available to help students every period of the day in the counseling office. Please direct students to this great resource.

My caseload consists of students with last names starting with PAS-SL. I look forward to meeting you.
