Deb Darnell

This is my 5th year at Fairview as the Gifted & Talented Educational Advisor/Instructor. I have been a GTA in BVSD since 2004 spending most of my career at Southern Hills Middle next door. I'm originally from the midwest, but I knew I wanted to live in Colorado. I'm a CU graduate and my passion is helping students self discover who they are and then helping them investigate and apply their unique gifts. I love teaching and interacting with the IB Diploma candidates in ToK class. I'm excited this year to meet incoming freshmen by being involved with instructing three Freshman Seminars.

Both of my daughters attended Fairview so I have been a Knight for a long time. In my free time I like to read, motorcycle, bicycle, and spend time with family.
