I'm so excited to be a Fairview Knight!

Originally from San Diego, California, Marisa is deeply rooted in family values and enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, Kyle, two energetic sons, Nico and Adrian, and their new rescue dog, Pumpkin. Their love for off-roading, camping, and traveling keeps them and their family constantly engaged with the great outdoors and new adventures.

With over 15 years of experience in education, Marisa has dedicated 12 years to teaching in the classroom before transitioning into leadership roles, including serving as Dean of Culture and Dean of Students. This extensive background has reinforced Marisa's strengths in cultivating strong relationships, building systems, supporting staff, collaborating with teams, and managing crises—skills critical for ensuring a positive and safe school environment within buildings.

Marisa firmly believes that a school’s culture is a dynamic and essential part of the school system that requires continual, intentional attention. Her work is focused on supporting students, teachers, and families to create a school community that is inclusive, safe, and collaborative. By prioritizing open and continuous communication, Marisa ensures that student success remains at the forefront of all decision-making.
