Students selected for screenings include 9th graders during their Language Arts class, 10th-12th graders enrolled in Soc. Dev., Learning Lab, or Math Lab, new BVSD students, and those previously monitored by BVSD. Referrals can also be made by parents or teachers if there is a concern. Students with corrective lenses should bring or wear them to the vision screening. Only students with potential vision or hearing concerns will be contacted after the screening; no contact will be made if both screenings are passed. Questions can be directed to Judy Stephens at judy.stephens@bvsd.org or (720) 561-3336.
